What I've Done
Country Song → Short Film
Turned a country track into a cinematic, emotional narrative (in production) and photos were published in The Hollywood Magazine & Red Lights is now in the short film circuit.
Plain Warehouse → A24 Aesthetic
Made an industrial space look like a critically-acclaimed indie film on a production budget.
Shaman → Mystical Healer
Revealed an equine therapist as the timeless, otherworldly presence she always carried inside her.
Model → Herself
Stripped away the performance. Shot a professional model the way she'd always wanted to look — effortless, intimate, editorial.
Taxidermy → Sensual
Made taxidermy look genuinely compelling. Yes. That happened.
Documentary → Liberation
Directed a documentary on shibari that helped women reconnect to their sensual, emotional bodies.
BTS on Set → Intimate Human Truth
Shot behind-the-scenes for a marketing agency and made it feel less like documentation, more like a fly-on-the-wall into the raw, unguarded moments of what it actually looks like to make art.
Turned my Closet into a space of Raw Storytelling. I shot, wrote, directed, and edited my own short called ‘I Remember You’ Now in the short film circuit.
About Sabeeha (Sabi)
Filmmaker, photographer, and owner of Become The Art. I host Proper Madness and Tea Time with Sabi.
I spent six years performing a version of myself I thought the world wanted. Then I stopped. Everything I make now comes from that.
My work sits at the intersection of psychology and image-making. I help artists, entrepreneurs, and purpose-led humans express the truth they've been carrying inside them for years -through cinematic storytelling and intentional creative direction.
I know what it's like to fall into comparison, trends, self-doubt, and creative burnout. That's not a background story- it's the methodology. The six years I spent performing a version of myself I thought the world wanted me to be, before I stopped, is exactly why I can see through performance instantly, and direct people out of it.
Based in Southern California. Currently open to brand collaborations, directing short films and features, and editorial commissions worldwide — including an upcoming artist residency in Champagne-Ardenne, France.
